It’s no secret that Arkansas is a booming state. It has the fastest growing economy in the country and more than 6,000 new jobs are being created every year. But what counties are experiencing this growth? This post will list four of Arkansas’ top-growing counties, which have experienced the most rapid expansion over the past decade or so.

– Arkansas County, AR: With a population of more than 16K people and an unemployment rate below the state average, this county is one to watch. The median household income in Arkansas County is $35k.

– Ashley County, AR: Located in eastern Arkansas with about 11K residents, this county has seen its fair share of growth over the past decade (+21%). Unemployment rates are low for those living there at around 12%. Median household incomes hover just under $38k per year.

– Baxter County, AR: This part of northwest Arkansas is home to not only good wages but beautiful scenery as well! It’s also welcoming new businesses such as Aero Electric Manufacturing Company Inc., which announced recently that it would be building a manufacturing plant.

As you can see from the list above there are many counties in Arkansas that are benefitting economically and growing at an impressive rate.

The state is becoming more business friendly with cities like Fayetteville working hard to make things happen for entrepreneurs or those looking to start their own company. With continued efforts by leaders statewide we’ll continue seeing growth across our great state!
